寺田和幸は、長年「自然観察の方法」というテーマで絵を描いている。 身の回りの物、庭先の木々、転がった石、これらの物たちを「心を開いて何でも受け入れる」と面白い世界が見えてくる と言う。点と線が重なり、つながり合いながら形を変え画面の中に迷い込む。 休息する線、うごめく線、これらが引き合い反発し合いながら在りえる形へと変化する。 いつも思いがけない様々なことに遭遇しながら、楽しんで描いているという寺田の絵が、見る者の目にも思いがけない発 見をいつまでも与えてくれる。 アートコレクター:前田元子

 

 “Kazuyuki Terada” has been drawing pictures on the theme of “methods of observing nature” for many years. He says that by “opening your heart and accepting everything,” you can see an interesting world in everyday objects, trees in the garden, and rolling stones. Points and lines overlap, connect, and change shape as they wander into the screen. Resting lines, wriggling lines, these lines interact and repel each other to form shapes that can exist while interacting with each other. Terada enjoys drawing while encountering various unexpected things, and his paintings continue to give viewers unexpected discoveries for a long time. Art collector: Motoko Maeda
